The thulium laser emits light at a wavelength of 1927nm, which is highly absorbed by water. When the laser irradiates the skin, the energy is absorbed by the water in the skin, generating a thermal effect. This causes micro-damage and vaporization of skin tissue while stimulating intensive collagen regeneration. By controlling the energy and irradiation time, varying degrees of skin exfoliation and regeneration are achieved.
